CSV import - Gatrevo

You can import contacts into Gatrevo’s contact store from any CSV file — CRM exports, event attendee lists, LinkedIn exports, or any spreadsheet.

CSV format

Your CSV must include a header row. Supported columns:

`industry`	No	Gatrevo normalises common variations automatically

Columns can be in any order. Extra columns are ignored. Example:

email,first_name,last_name,company,title,industry
jane@acmecorp.com,Jane,Smith,Acme Corp,VP of Sales,SaaS
john@widget.io,John,Doe,Widget Inc,CTO,Fintech

Importing

Go to Contacts → Import CSV
Select your file
Gatrevo previews the first few rows — confirm the mapping looks correct
Click Import

What happens on import

Duplicates (matched by email) are skipped — existing contacts are not overwritten
Invalid email addresses are skipped with a warning
Industry values are normalised to Gatrevo’s standard list (e.g. “SaaS” → “Technology”, “FS” → “Financial Services”)
Unknown industry values are stored as-is

After import

Imported contacts appear immediately in your contact list and are available for campaigns. Go to Campaigns → New campaign → Use existing contacts to target them.
