# Apollo

> Connect Apollo as your sequencer and prospecting source.

Apollo is used by Gatrevo for two things: finding prospects (contact discovery) and enrolling approved contacts into email sequences.

## Connecting Apollo

1. In Apollo, go to **Settings → Integrations → API**
2. Copy your **API Key**
3. Go to **Settings → Email Accounts** and copy your **Email Account ID** (the ID of the mailbox you send from)
4. In Gatrevo, go to **Settings → Integrations → Apollo** and enter both values

## What Gatrevo does with Apollo

* **Prospect discovery** — searches Apollo's database for contacts matching your campaign ICP (Gate 2)
* **Sequence creation** — creates a sequence in Apollo with the steps and timing Gatrevo configured
* **Contact enrollment** — enrolls each approved contact into the sequence in Apollo

After enrollment, emails are sent and tracked inside Apollo. You can view sequence performance in both Apollo and the Gatrevo dashboard.

## Disconnecting Apollo

Go to **Settings → Integrations → Apollo** and click **Disconnect**. You can switch to Gatrevo's native sender (Gmail/Outlook) as an alternative.

  You need both the API Key and Email Account ID for enrollment to work. Sequences can be created without the Email Account ID but contacts cannot be enrolled.
