# Email drafts

> How Gatrevo writes, personalises, and lets you edit email drafts.

## How drafts are generated

Gatrevo writes each draft using:

* **Your knowledge base** — product positioning, case studies, FAQs, battle cards
* **Prospect research** — recent news, funding rounds, and signals about the company
* **Your rep's voice** — Gatrevo learns from edits you make over time and adapts its writing style
* **Campaign context** — the target profile and campaign goals you defined

Every draft is unique to the individual contact — not a mail merge.

## Editing drafts

1. Go to **Campaigns** → click your campaign → **Drafts** tab
2. Click any draft to open the editor
3. Make your edits
4. Click **Approve**

Edits you make are stored and fed back into future draft generation for that campaign, so Gatrevo gets better at matching your style over time.

## Draft statuses

| Status | Meaning |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------ |
| **Pending** | Draft generated, waiting for review |
| **Approved** | Approved and contact enrolled in sequencer |
| **Edited** | You made changes before approving |
| **Skipped** | You chose to skip this contact |

## Bulk approval

On the campaign detail page, click **Draft all** to approve all pending drafts at once. Use this when you've reviewed a sample and are happy with the overall quality.

## Draft quality tips

* **Keep your knowledge base up to date** — drafts are only as good as the context Gatrevo has. Add product docs, recent case studies, and positioning docs to your KB.
* **Edit and give feedback** — your edits teach Gatrevo your preferred style. A few edits on the first campaign makes subsequent campaigns noticeably better.
* **Use rep preferences** — set your tone (formal / conversational), signature, and send timing in **Settings → Preferences**.
